ive seen a few questions posted up that i would like to
answer. sorry for the delay i will get around to them in the next couple days..

i've just been deep into finishing the pinback album. its
coming along great i think. we have just 2 more weeks before we turn it in..

almost there yeah.

this is a short clip that was played behind us, while we performed boo at the spreckels theater in downtown san diego. its kind of cool to see the slides that we used for our album "blue screen Life."

so the site's look has been getting a face lift , you may not even notice unless you refresh your web browser every time you visit these pages for awhile . im still workin on it.

yah i knew somethin' like this was gonna happen.

for all you that joined last week -- sorry , i screwed up the dang database. any comments you might have left last week are officially toast. if its any conciliation i was able to retain all the users that have joined since the beginning. im still gonna try to retrieve the lost stuff , but i'd say the chances of me succeeding are next to none.

- on the other hand , i did warn you all i dont know wtf im doing !

- oh and i wouldn't rule out that it wont happen again.

i decided to setup a new site for systemsofficer.com.
im still workin on it so bare with me. hopefully in the end,
this site will let people know whats up with my solo project systemsofficer, as well as other projects im involved in ( pinback, three mile pilot, etc. )

i know it suxs right now but im workin on it!

so i have been working on a new systems officer full length album, in my spare time. it will be 10-12 songs, that i think are a bit more experimental for me..just sort of goin' with it. it is slated to come out january 2008 on ace fu records..

just wanted to give an update on three mile pilot...

the last time we put out a record was in early 2000 it was titled "an old town we once knew." the 2 disc album was a collection of bsides , not a true full length album.

so many people have ask me over the years if there is ever going to be another 3mp record.. i have always told them we're working on it ! , its just takin' a little while longer then we thought :-)

oh so close!

right now rob and i have about 15 songs we are mulling over for the next
pinback album named " autumn of the seraphs . " we are in the process
of finishing up mixes etc., then we will narrow it down to about 12 songs. the artwork has been done by our friend mike sutfin. he did the cover to our last tour e.p. " too many shadows " as well as our bsides we released late last year "nautical antiques . " i really dig what he did for " autumn of the seraphs ."

i cant wait to turn this thing into touch and go, and get back out on the road !!
