Hi --- I've been wanting to have a central place on the web for a long time now where i could easily give updates, answer questions, etc. on all the bands and projects that i'm involved in. since i'm running this site myself, please cut me some slack as i try to wrestle the complexities of web design. i'm finding im a much better musician then web technician :-) thanks , -zach

New Systems Officer album done!

hey hey..

i just wanted to let everyone know who's interested
that i finally finished the new systems officer album. its taken a lot longer then i ever wanted or planned, but in the end im really happy with it. i hope everyone will enjoy it. there are 10 songs. the album comes out on Temporary Residence Limited on November 3rd 2009. i will also have copies on hand when pinback goes on tour later this year in october '09.

three mile pilot will be playing 2 shows at

the casbah in san diego on jan 19th-20th 2009.

we are doing the shows to celebrate the casbah's

20th anniversary.

so i have been working on a new systems officer full length album, in my spare time. it will be 10-12 songs, that i think are a bit more experimental for me..just sort of goin' with it. it is slated to come out january 2008 on ace fu records..

three mile pilot...has it really been 7 years?

just wanted to give an update on three mile pilot...

the last time we put out a record was in early 2000 it was titled "an old town we once knew." the 2 disc album was a collection of bsides , not a true full length album.

so many people have ask me over the years if there is ever going to be another 3mp record.. i have always told them we're working on it ! , its just takin' a little while longer then we thought :-)
