A certain 'je ne sais quoi'..

I was just wondering if there was any particular reason why you have numerous French-inspired song titles throughout your albums, ex. Montaigne, Rousseau, Lyon, Versailles, etc. Is this just a coincidence? Is there 'rhyme to your reason'? Or am I simply looking too far into this?
